7. Anonymous Ordering Portal#

It is possible to create a link to an anonymous portal in TrustView, to let users that are not registered as a TrustView user, order certificates.

This can be done by logging into TrustView as a user of the role Superuser or Global admin and then go to Settings Settings for certificate ordering. Then go to Public certificate order pages: Create and edit here you will be shown a list of all (if any) of the anonymous certificate order pages created.

Click Add to add a new order page.

7.1. Create new anonymous order page#

Click Add to add a new order page.

In the input field for the Name, type the preferred URL to let users use to gain access to the order page. The default URL will always be the following:

The URL to visit to access the anonymous order page#
https://url-to-your-trustview-instance/cert/{{custom-subdirectory}}

Note

The URL will always match the URL associated with your own unique TrustView instance.

In the Access Code field, you can choose to let access to the anonymous order page require a password or not, by specifying one after the checkbox has been checked or leaving the checkbox unchecked.

Once you fill out the details and click Add you will be taking back to the list of order pages again, to see that the newly created order page have been added to the list.

If you visit one of the order pages, you get to the detail page, where you have the option to Delete it and see if it is active or not.

7.2. Access an anonymous order page#

To access an anonymous order page, you simply has to visit the link that was created, or share it with the relevant user that needs to access it, to place an order.

Important

Once this link has been shared, the user have the option to order new certificates through TrustView, without requiring access to TrustView but would require a valid TrustView user, to approve of the order, before it can be issued.

Once the order page has been accessed successfully with the access code (if one was set to be required), all the order details can be filled out, before the order is placed. After that it will be awaiting approval from a valid TrustView user, of the role Superuser or Global admin.

Once the order has been placed, you will be greeted with a message that states the order is pending approval:

The certificate order has now been sent for approval.

7.3. Approval of anonymous orders#

Any users that have the role of Superuser or Global admin, can log into TrustView and go to Order certificate Approve orders.

Here you will be greeted with a list that shows all the orders that are pending for approval. The certificates, can’t be issued before they are approved, by a valid TrustView user.

On the detail page for the pending certificates, you now has the option to make final changes to the certificate, before approving and issuing the certificate.

Note

Once a certificate has been approved, the order will be sent to TrustSkills, to be processed as normal.
